Client Account Manager
We’re looking for a Client Account Manager who can own a portfolio of eCommerce clients end-to-end—shaping strategy, translating vision into technical briefs, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding results. You’ll bring a solid technical background that lets you quickly spot optimisation opportunities and translate client issues into clear, actionable requirements. If you thrive on juggling multiple projects, love talking shop with both developers and executives, and have a knack for spotting commercial upsell opportunities, this role is for you.
What you’ll do
• Translate client visions into outcomes for website projects that deliver measurable results.
• Act as the main point of contact, managing client relationships and ensuring long-term success.
• Oversee multiple projects and client accounts, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery that exceeds expectations.
• Develop and present strategic plans, identify upsell opportunities, and support client growth.
• Handle quoting, scoping, briefing, and quality assurance with clear communication and alignment to goals.
• Develop detailed project plans, track progress, manage budgets, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Manage project-related risks, issues, scope changes, and resource allocation proactively.
• Lead project and sprint planning sessions, coordinate internal/external teams, and maintain high-quality documentation.
• Communicate effectively, handle client feedback professionally, and resolve conflicts with a solution-driven approach.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• The ideal candidate:
• Proven experience in account management or project management within a digital, SaaS, or eCommerce environment
• Strong technical understanding of:
• eCommerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce, Magento, Shopify, etc.)
• ERP systems and how they integrate with online sales channels
• eCom components such as Product Catalogues, Payments, Shipping
• APIs, data flows, and ERP systems and integrations
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, client-facing language and vice versa
• Confident working with development teams, understanding timelines, blockers, and technical constraints and testing
• Experience managing multiple technical projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to scope, estimate, and prioritise technical project phases and change requests
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills (e.g., writing specs, meeting summaries, QA reports)
• Bonus: Experience in mobile app delivery, B2B eCommerce, or headless CMS solutions
About You
• 3+ years of eCommerce industry experience.
• Experience working across eCommerce platforms such as BigCommerce, Shopify, WordPress / WooCommerce, or headless CMS
• Experience managing and coordinating eCommerce builds
• Experience managing and coordinating development and design teams.
• Experience with project management/ticketing platforms (e.g., ClickUp, Harvest, Monday.com, Asana, Jira).
• Experience in client communication and very comfortable speaking to clients over phone and video.
• Experience in change management with excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Experience in conflict resolution, considering both agency and client needs.
• Experience in UX design fundamentals and eCommerce store architecture

Digital Account Manager
• Full time, permanent (can be flexible around the schedule of when hours worked)

Your focus:

You will be able to identify upsell opportunities and pass these on to action. Communication will be imperative for you to be successful in this role.
Ideally you will have:
• 3+ years eCommerce industry experience
• Account Management experience
• Lead and implement digital projects to increase customer ROI
• Ability to understand and implement all digital platforms
• Client Management & Strategy Development skills
• Great followup with tasks including post project growth

Skills in troubleshooting and be self motivated
• A relevant degree but is not essential if you have the appropriate experience
• A professional manner and presentation and be reliable and punctual
• Strong communication and be able to speak up when required

Kobe Creations is a St Kilda Road based digital eCommerce services and software development company, which specialises in software integration solutions.

Working directly with the owner, the role will be very hands-on, starting with generalist and administrative tasks (including PA to the business owner) and growing into a varied role straddling sales support, customer management, digital marketing, social media, organising staff catch-ups, keeping projects on track, product development, assisting with presentations and proposals and more.

We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about digital solutions and achieving great results for the customer. You will be a great fit in our tight-knit company if you are a confident and enthusiastic self-starter who isn’t afraid to put forward innovative ideas.

You’ll have the ability to work on a vast array of different projects and help explore ways to both streamline and grow the business. We’re looking for a candidate who can stay calm and organised when things get chaotic, which can happen when things are busy. You’ll also keep things moving along when they get stuck.
